I'm a software developer by trade with an interest in programming languages, compilers, and other software for dealing with software. This has mostly turned into paid work on static analysis tools but I've also engaged in the unsavory practice programming language design.
Additionally, I've done unrelated stuff, mostly in finance-related industries, and that's been fine as well.
